Ubisoft Finally Shows Ghost Recon: Wildlands Map, The Biggest Open World Game Ever Made

Ubisoft has released Ghost Recon: Wildlands map, featuring different regions, ecosystem and bosses. It's a real living world.

When talking about Wildlands, Ubisoft has always stressed the fact that the key element in this game is freedom of choice; players will be able to take down enemies, accomplish missions and explore locations the way they want, without any kind of influence. This sense of freedom is strongly present in the Ghost Recon: Wildlands map, recently showed by the company.

This map will feature 21 regions with 11 different ecosystems and 26 bosses to take down.

This huge map will offer a lot of activity and NPCs to interact with, as claimed by the game’s lead artist and technical art director Benoit Martinez:

We have a full agenda for the NPCs, so they really live in the world of this game. They go to bed at night. They get up. They go to work. Whether or not you interact with them or not, they live their own life.

Ubisoft calls this game “the biggest open-world” ever made.

However, also customization is an important feature in this game.

Check Ubisoft’s words below.

Being able to customize your Ghost is an important step to feel closer to the game’s world. If the player can identify with their character, they will feel more immersed in the story and create their own adventures. Above all else, being able to customize your character is something really cool. When we announced Ghost Recon: Wildlands, we thought that character customization was one of the biggest requests from our community, so we decided to put it in this title.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is scheduled to release on March 7th, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
