The Coalition has shared the details of the first Gears of War 4 Halloween Event in a recent blogpost.
Pumpkin Ball is a Halloween Special Event which is essentially a remix of Dodgeball with 1 second respawn times and reduced respawn production, resulting in a faster paced Dodgeball experience.
Celebrate Halloween with Gears of War 4 Special Event
The social style playlist is available on Fallout, Forge, Harbor, Impact, Lift and can be accessed in the ‘Events’ category under the ‘Versus’ menu. To celebrate Halloween, bonus XP rewards in Pumpkin Ball are also available for everyone. Apart from this, Pumpkin Heads – inspired from Juvies – have also found their way to Gears of War 4, exclusively in the Pumpkin Ball playlist.

Moreover, the Halloween Elite Pack can now be purchased until Nov. 01, 2016. The Halloween Special pack is essentially a variant on the Elite Gear Pack, with one card in each guaranteed to be Epic or Legendary rarity. Legendary Cards acquired from the Halloween Elite Pack are exclusively from the Day of the Dead Legendary Collection.
In relevant Gears of War 4 news, The Coalition recently rolled out an update which significantly boosted Horde Credit and XP Earn rates by a decent margin. In addition to this, the studio has also confirmed to be working on a number of feedback items, details of which will be shared in future.
Gears of War 4 in now available on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.
