Universal Pictures and Focus Features’ Fifty Shades of Grey released its first DVD uncut poster and then a video teasing the fans with a Blu-Ray, unrated edition followed by an alternate ending.
The digital release will be available on May 1 for purchasing while the DVD Blu-Ray on May 8.
Not bad for a movie that has literally been the talk of the town and the producers did not take that long to announce the DVD Blu-ray.
The MPAA rated Fifty Shades of Grey ‘R’, censor board said that the reason for classifying it as ‘R’ is that it has “strong sexual content including dialogue, some unusual behavior and graphic nudity, and for language.”
The teaser gives an insight and never seen before interviews with the cast and crew. E. L. James (writer/producer) says, “I knew from the start that it would be a passionate love story. I always described it as a ‘love story with a kink.’”
Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey) says, “Essentially it is two people who’ve fallen in love with each other and there’s massive hurdles in the way, things that have happened that have shaped him in ways of sort of great magnitude.”
In the interim Dakota Johnson says, “Christian and Ana meet each other, and they both happen to be each other’s Achilles’ heels. I don’t think that his power or wealth has anything to do with what she feels for him. It’s the way he sees her.”
This new video promises an unrated version with an alternative ending. Although the video does not enlighten its fans with what it might be.
It will also have bonus features such as “World of Fifty Shades of Grey” which will be focused on the set and characters. Additional feature titled as “Fifty Shades: The Pleasure of Pain” will consist of a BDSM counselor followed by The Weeknd’s-Earned it video.
