EA has released a new trailer for “the beautiful game” called FIFA 16. The footage is brief and shows Real Madrid players and their authentic likeness.
The big news here is that along with the trailer, EA announced via a press-release that Real Madrid is the official partner for FIFA 16. EA Sports Vice President of Marketing Jamie McKinlay stated:
We’re honored to welcome Real Madrid as an official partner club and the opportunity to bring fans even closer to the team through unique experiences and authentic player likeness in the game. Real Madrid is one of the most popular clubs in the world and that’s also true within our game; we are looking forward to building a deeper connection with the club in the coming year.
Real Madrid C.F. Director of Institutional Relations Emilio Butragueño on the other hand stated, that they are proud to be partnering with EA Sports as they are the market leader for Football videogames.
Some awesome new screenshots have also been released, giving us a look at some of the popular Real Madrid players we’ll be seeing in this year’s installment.
You can clearly see the improvements in character models that will add much more to the overall experience of the beautiful game.
You can check out the new trailer for the game posted above, and expect FIFA 16 to release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on September 22.
