EA Sports has shared new details regarding the Career Mode for Fifa 16. According to the developer, FIFA 16 Career Mode will feature Pre-Season Tournaments and managers will have the option to train players to boost their skills.
During the Summer, clubs travel around the world to prepare for the new season, introducing this feature into FIFA 16 will add a touch of realism to the game’s Career Mode.
In FIFA 16, we are introducing this key development period to Career Mode. Prior to a given season, your club will be invited to three out of a possible nine tournaments, played in Asia, Europe, Latin America, or North America.
Just as with real football clubs, these matches will be a great opportunity to work on your team tactics and line-ups before the start of the regular season – use all your subs to test squad players.
Winnings from these tournaments will be added to the transfer budget for the next season. Moreover, managers will have the option to train their roster and allow player to build on their attributes.
Each week, you’ll be able to choose five players from the squad and put them through a number of training drills. Lastly, minor story elements are being added to the Career Mode as well. Commentators will remark on key season moments, transfer rumors, team performance, player debut and more.
