Fallout 76 official beta is scheduled to begin in October, one month before the release of the game. This was revealed along the announcement that Xbox One players will get access to the beta first which raised many questions for the fans regarding the Fallout 76’s pre-launch plans and Pete Hines took it to Twitter to reveal that we might be getting a smaller beta too.
Bethesda’s VP of Marketing, Pete Hines, in response to a fan revealed that a smaller beta could be held days or maybe weeks before the official launch in October. He said it could take place 5 days or three weeks before in the same month.
To enter this early smaller beta, you will have to sign up to the official beta and there’s no guarantee that you can be a part of it as it comes to luck because Pete Hines has revealed that the early beta players will be selected at random from the regular beta sign-ups.
The selection will be random to keep things fair and you don’t have to do anything to stand out as it’s how they have done before in games like The Elder Scrolls Online and The Elder Scrolls Legends.
It makes sense because it’s the first online-only focused game by Bethesda so the team is going to test out the game as much as they can before they officially launch the game to the public.
To get a guaranteed spot in the beta of the game, you will have to pre-order Fallout 76 from Amazon or Bethesda store after which you will receive a code which you can then enter on your Bethesda.net account in order to be a part of the official beta in October.
Fallout 76 is scheduled to release on November 14 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
