Fallout 76 Beta Dates Announced For All Platforms, Xbox One Users To Get Early Access

Fallout 76 is less than two months away from launch and before the game launches, we will be able to try out Fallout 76 beta. Now, Bethesda has officially announced the beta dates for all three version of Fallout 76.

Bethesda has noted that with the Fallout 76 beta the development team intends to stress test the game. However, the servers for the Fallout 76 beta will not be online 24/7 but Bethesda will have a specific time for the servers to come online.

Not only that, Xbox One owners will be able to play Fallout 76 beta a week early compared to PlayStation 4 and PC. Also, those who preordered the game will be able to access the Fallout 76 beta. Here is when the beta will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

  • Xbox one – October 23
  • PlayStation 4 – October 30
  • PC – October 30

During the B.E.T.A. one of our primary goals is to stress test and break the game. As such, the servers will not be running 24/7; instead, they’ll be online during targeted timeframes so we can get as many people as possible playing at the same time. Why? Because that’s the best way to put all our systems to the test and see how they respond.

Fallout 76 being a multiplayer title makes it a prime candidate to feature cross-play, however, Bethesda has noted that Fallout 76 will not feature cross-play as it is too late to implement it.

If in Feb you tell me I can’t dress up as a Raider for Halloween, I’ll start working on a different costume. You can’t tell me a few days before Halloween that I can be a Raider and then act surprised when I stick with what I worked on because you said I couldn’t go as a Raider.

Not only that, Fallout 76 is a game that will be supported for years to come. However, Bethesda doesn’t intend to stop support for the game ever as Pete Hines has noted that Bethesda intends to support Fallout 76 forever.

Fallout 76 is an open-world multiplayer title in development at Bethesda and is scheduled to launch on November 14, 2018, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
