Is Fallout 5 in pre-production already? It appears that a “leak” may have revealed it is. Even without a leak though it is safe to say that planning is in motion for the future of Fallout.
In the video above by Youtube user SpazzyW he reveals that Ryan Alosio, a voice actor on Fallout 4 may have revealed a little too much on his Instagram. This occurred when he became mixed up with the character he voiced in Fallout 4, Deacon and another Zeke (the founding member of the Atom Cats).
This error was soon pointed out, and fixed by Alosio, but it was his reply to the fans that has caused interested. The new deleted comment made comment on the Fallout 5 pre-production:
“Internally there is movement gearing up pre-production of FO5… (shhhhh) obviously I can’t get into any details at all right now”
No surprising that this comment was soon removed, but it was picked up by people like SpazzyW. Whether this is confirmation that Fallout 5 is in production though is debatable. With the success of Fallout 4 though it would be surprising if it wasn’t. So this is all speculation right now.
Instagram is an interesting place for rumours, we’ve seen some form recently for Grand Theft Auto 5 DLC based on an Instagram post by Shawn Fonteno. These are used to build up some hype for future releases and get some news coverage for the games.
It seems a little too early for Fallout 5 to need any hype, we can assume it won’t come anytime soon. Bethesda also will want focus to be more on their upcoming Fallout 4 DLC instead of any talk of new sequels.
