Fallout 4 continues its meteoric rise as one of this gaming generation’s greatest games with the arrival of its Season Pass on Steam.
Fallout 4 season pass has rapidly shot to the very top of Steam’s “Top Seller” list, putting it past even such highly anticipated games like Dark Souls 3’s Deluxe Edition, Street Fighter V, or XCOM 2.
Fallout 4 has received critical acclaim since its release on November 10 last year, with praise being given to its thought-provoking narrative, combat, the player’s freedom of movement, and the area in general as yet another Bethesda game that you can spend hours in without getting bored.
Bethesda has also allowed the game to be fully moddable, allowing gifted fans with coding experience to be able to do any number of things from finally getting Preston Garvey to shut up about settlements that need your help to mods that allow you to create new weapons and armor.
A free creation kit will be released later this year, and will allow mods to be created on the Xbox One and PS4.
“The most important thing in our games is the freedom you have to create your own experience, and modding is a big part of that. Like all our previous games, we’ve made sure to keep Fallout 4 open and moddable at every step in development. Early next year we’ll release for free the new Creation Kit for the PC. This is the same tool we use in the studio. You’ll be able to create your own mods and share them with others. We’re especially excited these same mods will then be coming to Xbox One, and then PlayStation 4.”
The season pass will include every single piece of DLC that Bethesda will end up making for Fallout 4, all for $30.
