Codemasters released Dirt Rally for the Microsoft Windows platform about a week ago, and now the console versions of the game are left. For any title that is being released to the latest generation of consoles, it is important to note the frame rates and resolutions since they help you gauge the quality of graphics to some extent.
Game designer and developer, Darren Hayward, was recently asked about the frame rate of the game’s PlayStation 4 version on his official Twitter account.
In his reply, Hayward has confirmed that the fans are going to be able to enjoy it on a good 60 frame rates per second which is what all the PlayStation 4 fans have always expected.
However, when he was inquired about the resolution that the game will be able to achieve, Hayward did not have a clear answer. He said that he was unsure as to what they are going to be able to achieve but added that it will be as high as they can get with 60 frames per second.
It is a slight surprise that the game designers themselves aren’t sure how will Dirt Rally fare in terms of resolution, but this could be explained by the fact that they are probably neck deep ushering the game to gold status and usually such questions get answered only after they are through with the toiling.
The game’s Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions were recently rated by the game classification board of Taiwan which hinted at what you can expect from Codemasters in the future. Read up on that here.
Dirt Rally was released to Microsoft Windows on December 7, 2015 and now it is slated for a release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 5, 2016.
