Blizzard are working up to the release of patch 2.3.0 for Diablo 3 and have offered some updates for gamers awaiting the update. Providing some big changes to the game, not only will players get new features and a new zone but they will also see some changes to the Adventure Mode.
The first area they have focused on is crafting, and the developers have listened to feedback on the fact that many crafted items feel like they are too expensive to construct. To fix this, an entire tier of crafting materials have been removed. These include Common Debris, Exquisite Essences, Iridescent Tears, Demonic Essences and Fiery Brimstones.
Crafting costs in general will also be reduced across the board. This has been done with the aim to make crafting seem like a viable option for the player whether new, or starting a new Season.
With the addition of a new zone to the game also comes new bounties. Nephalem Rifts will no longer need Rift Fragments to enter so to balance this out the rewards gained have been revised. Bounties will now be the primary source for gold and crafting materials with at least two crafting recipe drops per bounty.
The way the game moves between bonus Acts will also be updated. Once a bonus act has been completed, it will automatically rotate to the new act. This will save the user having to navigate game menus, pushing them straight into the action.
Nephalem and Greater Rifts are also going through a change. To draw a clear line between the two Nephalem Rifts will be a more relaxed version of a loot run. The Greater Rifts are a greater challenge and the place to show off your skills. Also included in these changes is the removal of the Realm of Trials.
Lastly the Infernal Machine event will be going through a few changes based on user feedback. Firstly there will be no need to craft Hellfire Machines and each Keywarden will have the chance to drop an infernal machine.
