As we mentioned above, Devil May Cry 5 has been reportedly leaked through a reseller’s listing. The Austrian dealer Gameware has in fact included in the catalog of the game, both in PS4 edition and in Xbox One edition, specifying that the output is expected for 2018.
Devil May Cry 5 is rumored to be announced at E3 2018, along with a rumored remaster for Resident Evil 2. There’s no confirmed information backing up the theory, for now, so we’ll have to wait until Capcom actually reveals any of those titles.
A few days back, Daniel Southworth, actor and voice actor who lent his voice to Vergil in Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening, shared a photo on his Facebook page captioning the words “E3” and “motion capture”, which may be hinting something happening at E3 2018.
As our previous Devil May Cry rumor story states, originally DMCV was intended to be announced at PSX but after receiving feedback on their E3 press conference, Sony decided to scale back on PSX and instead scale up E3 2018.
Over the past days, a lot of titles have been rumored to getting their confirmation during E3 2018, so you should each and every one of them with a grain of salt. It’s not unusual for publishers to leak information or tease video game titles on social networks to hype up their franchises before they get announced, what each year’s E3 conference teach us though is that most of those rumors actually get never confirmed.
Do you believe Devil May Cry 5 might be present at E3 2018? Which other Capcom titles would you want to see announced?
