Detroit: Become Human is one of the most anticipated PS4 exclusives but, developer Quantic Dream is yet to announce a release date for the game. The studio intends to make Detroit: Become Human much bigger than its previous titles and will have three times as many choices as Heavy Rain. Now, the studio has revealed that Detroit will be present at Gamescom 2017.
Quantic Dream announced through its Twitter account that Quantic Dream will not only be present at Gamescom 2017 but, a demo for the game titled “Hostage” will also be playable at the event. The hostage demo will be the same scenario which Quantic Dream showcased in E3 2016 trailer in which players must make choices in order to defuse a hostage situation and each action has a consequence.
Speaking of Gamescom, Nintendo will also be present at Gamescom 2017 and will bring its upcoming Super Mario Odyssey at the event along with a slew of other titles. Those who will be present at the event will get ot try out the Metro Kingdom and Sand Kingdom levels of Super Mario Odyssey.
In related news, During the DICE Summit 2017 broadcast earlier this year, David Cage talked about Detroit: Become human revealing that writing games is a painful process.
Cage explained that in the past the games were simple and focused on game mechanics to test player’s skill. However, as the time has passed gamers wanted a reason to shoot and kill in video games and that is where the story comes in.
Also, Quantic Dreams has revealed that aside from taking the story telling to another level, Detroit Become Human will push PlayStation 4 to its limits.
Currently, no release date has been announced for Detroit: Become Human but the game is expected to launch in 2018 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
