It has been a while since Bungie talked about the second Destiny 2 expansion and with dwindling player-base Bungie has to roll out something substantial to get its players back. While Bungie has not yet revealed when the second expansion will drop but reportedly the Destiny 2 second expansion will launch on May 8.
This is according to YouTuber, Mesa Sean, who found clues hinting that the Destiny 2 second expansion will roll out on May 8, 2018.
According to the YouTuber, the French version of “This Week at Bungie” reveals that Destiny 2 will be receiving an update on May 8 while the English version doesn’t mention anything like that.

The YouTuber speculates that the Destiny 2 second expansion will roll out on May 8 or it is the release date for the upcoming update, 1.1.4 for Destiny 2.
However, given that it is just speculations, take it with a grain of salt as Bungie is yet to officially announce the release date for the second expansion.
In related news, while the game launched for PC a few months after it launched for consoles but that didn’t stop the game from becoming the biggest PC launch for Activision.
According to Activision, Destiny 2 is “the largest PC launch in Activision history based on units” and the game’s first expansion “Curse of Osiris” had a higher attach rate compared to the original Destiny’s first expansion.
Not only that, recently story details leaked online for the game’s second expansion. These alleged Destiny 2 expansion details come from GameStop’s page for the DLC which also reveal the description of the expansion detailing the vanishing and corruption of Warmind Rasputin and the return of Ana Bray in the Last City on Earth.
Destiny 2 is a first-person action shooter developed by Bungie for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
