Death Stranding is one of the most anticipated PlayStation exclusives and fans are eager to know more about the upcoming game especially since it is being developed by Hideo Kojima. Not much is known about the game except that the development is going well and now it seems that Kojima is collaborating with director Neill Blomkamp on Death Stranding.
Hideo Kojima is known for giving out one of the most obscure hints about his plans and his latest hint might suggest that movie director, Neill Blomkamp, might be collaborating with Hideo Kojima on Death Stranding. The clue comes from E3 Coliseum panel where Jon Vogt-Roberts, who will also be directing the Metal Gear movie, was hanging out with Hideo Kojima.
As noted by Youtube channel, PythonSelkanHD, Vogt-Roberts was wearing a jacket throughout the panel and on the jacket, there were flags on top of each other United States, Japan, and South Africa. According to the youtube channel, the US and Japan flags represent Roberts and Kojima. and the third one possibly hinting at Blomkamp.
To give more credence to the possibility of these two collaborating on Death Stranding, Blomkamp himself during another panel at E3 2017 talked about Hideo Kojima. However, given that it is just a speculation, take it as a grain of salt but, then again Kojima is known for mind-bending clues.
We are yet to see any gameplay for the this highly anticipated title and many of you would be forgiven for thinking that the game was revealed too early and is in early development. However, President of Sony Interactive America, Shawn Layden, talked about the game and its absence from E3 2017. When asked about if the game actually exists outside of trailers shown till now he clarified that the game is “up and running” and he has also played the game.
Death Stranding is an action-adventure game in development at Kojima Productions and will launch sometime in 2018 for PlayStation 4.
