CD Projekt Red has been keeping the details about their upcoming title, Cyberpunk 2077, under wraps and seems like they have no intention revealing them anytime soon. However, a leak has made its way to the internet that reveals details about Cyberpunk 2077 social hub.
The leak comes from The Triple S League, whose anonymous source has revealed that there will be a Cyberpunk 2077 Social Hub that will essentially be a bridge between the game’s single-player and multiplayer experiences. However, given that is a rumor, take it as a grain of salt.
However, by the sound of it, it seems that CD Projekt Red might be looking to create something similar to The Farm in Destiny 2 or Headquarters in Call of Duty: WW2. Furthermore, the source emphasizes that the studio doesn’t want to make Cyberpunk 2077 an MMO which is definitely good to hear.
Not much is known about the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 except some rumors and a rumor has been making rounds on the internet that the game will be 4 times bigger than The Witcher 3 and its DLCs combined.
The rumor also suggests that the game will also use The Witcher 3’s seasonal system for generating massive scales and will also feature dynamic destructible areas.
Also, developer CD Projekt Red is working GWENT: The Witcher Card Game. GWENT has been very popular among the community but, the developers did not anticipate that this mini-game would be so popular among the players.
We wanted to make a fun mini-game that players would enjoy in between saving the world in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. That was the plan when we were creating GWENT. And then it turned out players were actually spending a whole lot of time playing GWENT, much more than we anticipated.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a Sci-fi action RPG in development at CD Projekt Red for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
