Youtuber ‘Bearly Regal’ has recreated a PlayStation 1 gameplay trailer of Cyberpunk 2077. As the name suggests, the video shows Cyberpunk 2077 in the graphics and animation style of a PS1 game.
The video below will let you know what Cyberpunk 2077 would look like if it came out in 1995 and on PlayStation 1. And we strongly suggest everyone to watch the video because it is impressive.
According to the creator, it took him about 50 hours to make the game look like a PS1 title. The demake takes us on a mini-tour of Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City in the style of a PS1 game. Further, the video starts with the classic Playstation 1 logo screen.
Bearly Regal usually creates his remakes using Minecraft, Lego Worlds, and Dreams. The latter is where he built the remake of Cyberpunk 2077 as a PS1 title. Dreams is a game creation system exclusively available for Sony PlayStation 4 users.
The above video is a teaser. And the creator mentions that the project is far from being finalized. During the second part of the video, the creator talks about the process and techniques he used to create characters, environments and various objects. The author also says that he will continue to further polish this demake of Cyberpunk 2077.
In case you don’t’ know, Regal is the same person who recreated Death Stranding trailer in the style of PS1 trailer.
To see more of Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay, players will have to wait until Gamescom 2019. According to CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 will be part of the upcoming event.
Moreover, CDPR will show live gameplay demos of Cyberpunk 2077 during the event. With that confirmed, Cyberpunk fans should not miss the event in August. This year’s Gamescom 2019 event will start from August 20 and end on August 24. Interested players should look out for the CD Projekt Red booth in Hall 6, Stand C049 at the event.
We expect to learn more about the game during the event including Cyberpunk 2077 minimum specs required to run the game on PC.
