Cyberpunk 2077 was announced years ago and CD Projekt Red has been very quiet about the project, however, a leak has made its way on the internet suggesting that Cyberpunk 2077 is already in a playable state and there is a big promotional campaign for the game is already prepared.
The leak comes from YouTuber, LegacyKillaHD, who claims that an employee of Sony has told him that Sony has already received a Cyberpunk 2077 tech demo, hinting that the game is very much in a playable state.
The report further suggests that the tech demo for the game showcases an impressive part of the game, however, he further noted that its very early and still requires a year or two worth of time to be completed.
According to the report, there is a big Cyberpunk 2077 promotional campaign ahead hinting that we might get a glimpse of the game soon.
However, it is important to note that this is just a rumor so take it as a grain of salt. With that being said, if this leak is indeed true then we might be looking at Cyberpunk 2077 reveal at E3 2018, which might make sense since the game’s Twitter account recently went active after being inactive for over 3 years indicating that the studio is planning something to showcase.
Also, this is not the only rumor about the game that is making rounds on the internet as another report suggests that there will be a Cyberpunk 2077 Social Hub that will essentially be a bridge between the game’s single-player and multiplayer experiences.
It seems that CD Projekt Red might be looking to create something similar to The Farm in Destiny 2 or Headquarters in Call of Duty: WW2.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a Sci-fi action RPG in development at CD Projekt Red for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
