Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games that comes following the success of The Witcher 3. However, the game will be a first-person RPG instead of third-person with incredible gun combat which has been worked on by former Counter Strike player and features Katanas that deflect bullets.
This is according to CD Projekt Red who revealed new detail about Cyberpunk 2077 gun combat and other aspects in a German interview.
According to the devs, Cyberpunk 2077 gun combat was developed in collaboration with a former Counter Strike player to capture the “Groove” of a fun first-person shooting.
Not only that, CD Projekt Red also talked about the weapon that players will have access to in the game.
One of the weapons to make the Cyberpunk 2077 gun combat exciting is bullet deflecting “Katana” that players will be able to equip and as the title suggests, players can deflect bullets with it.
It is definitely exciting to see that the developers are taking feedback from professional players for Cyberpunk 2077 gun combat and we are sure that it will be exciting.
Since the game is in development, there is a chance that the bullet deflecting Katanas might not make it to the final version of the game as many features tend to be cut out for the sake of gameplay balance.
While the game is currently in development but the devs have confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 is currently playable from start to finish.
This means that the main and side quests are all in place and the game just needs bug fixing, optimization, and polishing for the final release. We can also expect the announcement for the game’s release date in coming months.
Not only that, the devs have also hinted that the world of Cyberpunk 2077 will be similar to GTA V and different at the same time.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a first-person action RPG in development at CD Projekt Red for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. No release date has been announced for the game yet.
