Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to E3 2018 but its appearance needs to be handled differently. While most games are scheduled to appear at Sony or Microsoft’s E3 press event.
At E3, the focus is primarily on content for consoles and each year we see PlayStation and Microsoft stealing the show with amazing events and hands-on content. However, it only in recent years we have seen PC try to make its mark and have some representation at E3. It is a shame that the biggest gaming platform in the world is left out from the biggest gaming show of the year.
To give PC relevance at E3, publishers and developers should bring exclusive reveals to the PC Gaming Show. And if there is one game that can make PC Gaming Show prominent at E3, it’s Cyberpunk 2077. Showing one of the most hyped games exclusively at the PC Gaming Show would add so much value to the event. It would generate interest among PC gamers and as a result, bring in more audience. Over the past few years E3’s audience base has dropped a bit but adding more content for the PC community can boost engagement to new heights.
Cyberpunk 2077, same as The Witcher 3, would offer its best looking version on PC without any downgrades. CD Projekt RED can take this opportunity to make sure the best version is showcased at the PC Gaming Show.
Do you think PC Gaming Show should get more attention from the developers and publishers around the world? Do you think that would help bring in more audience to E3?
