With less than a week left until its release, a lot of new information regarding Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered has started pouring in. Although the game is set to go live on 4th November, those who preordered were able to play the singleplayer campaign a month in advance.
However, according to some online reports, anyone who had the update 1.02 for Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered downloaded, can play the multiplayer on PS4. While patch 1.03 was released to fix this loop, gamers found yet another workaround to access the multiplayer by joining a friend’s lobby.
For those who don’t have any friends playing the game, Twitter user Moriarty found another workaround shared here.
A Reddit user Lorenso0 also uncovered a lot of new information regarding the prestige system in Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered.
Apparently, the game will have 20 Prestige levels and this post showcases them all with their emblems. The original Call of Duty Modern Warfare had a total of 10 Prestige levels so the remastered version has added 10 more alongside new emblems.
Another game exploit which was commonly used in the original game was with the killstreak which allowed players to rack up further killstreaks by using previously acquired ones. While that system still remains in the game, it has been a bit tweaked.
The remastered version of the game will not add more kills to the streak if a player gets kills through their Helicopter. However, kills through an airstrike still do count towards future killstreaks. According to Reddit user AskACapperDOTcom,
Unfortunately, when you overlap your kill streaks use the one below it. A.k.a. I never got to use my UAV because my airstrike instantly overrode it.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered is bundled with Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition and launches on 4th November on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. A listing of the game was recently spotted on Windows Store as well.
