Killstreaks are an important part of the Call of Duty franchise. If not important to the game, it is important to the community. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Killstreaks
The Call of Duty multiplayer rewards players who play good and manage to kill some of the other players on the map. How they reward them is by killstreaks.
If you manage to do like 4-5 kills without dying, you might get a killstreak that can get you more kills fast. The more the kills you manage to acquire without dying the bigger the killstreaks.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare also consists of killstreaks and players can choose 3 of the 17 available in their slots. They are the following:
Personal Radar
Kill Requirement: 3 Kills
This killstreak makes an escort drone enable the radar for you meaning that now you can see your enemies’ location on the map for a short period.
Counter UAV
Kill Requirement: 4 Kills
Counter UAV makes a drone that emits signals that jams the enemies’ minimap and their visibility the closer they are to the drone.
UAV
Kill Requirement: 4 Kills
UAV enables a recon ship that reveals the enemy location to the allies.
Care Package
Kill Requirement: 4 Kills
Care Package makes a care package come to your location that contains a random killstreak.
Cluster Strike
Kill Requirement: 4 Kills
Cluster Strike enables mortar fire at pinpointed location.
Cruise Missile
Kill Requirement: 4 Kills
Cruise Missile enables you to take control of long-range missiles.
Precision Airstrike
Kill Requirement: 4 Kills
Precision Airstrike lets you call two jets that rain down strike along a path.
Wheelson
Kill Requirement: 4 Kills
Wheelson enables a remote controlled UGV to use airburst turret on enemies.
Infantry Assault Vehicle
Kill Requirement: 7 Kills
Infantry Assault Vehicle enables a manned vehicle to step into the area with .50 cal machine gun fixated on it to shoot the enemies.
Emergency Airdrop
Kill Requirement: 8 Kills
Emergency Airdrop lets you call three random killstreak care packages that will arrive at your location.
VTOL Jet
Kill Requirement: 8 Kills
VTOL Jet launches missile barrage onto enemies and then guards a location of your choice.
Chopper Gunner
Kill Requirement: 10 Kills
Chopper Gunner lets you take control of a chopper that is armed with a turret and missiles.
White Phosphorus
Kill Requirement: 10 Kills
White Phosphorus lets you cover an entire area with this deadly smoke that makes enemies disoriented and produces a burning effect dealing damage to those who come close.
Support Helo
Kill Requirement: 11 Kills
Support Helo lets you call in an assault helo, with turrets, that moves around the map shooting any hostile its spots.
Gunship
Kill Requirement: 12 Kills
Gunship enables an assault gunship with three different types of ordnance that wreak havoc to the entire area.
Advanced UAV
Kill Requirement: 12 Kills
Advanced UAV enables a UAV that orbits and tells you the movement of the enemies.
Juggernaut
Kill Requirement: 15 Kills
Juggernaut lets you call in a care package that has Juggernaut gear for you to equip or devastate people with.
