Call of Duty Mobile Best Weapons Guide

This Call of Duty Mobile Weapons guide will focus on all the weapons and categories in the game as well as advantages of each gun

In Call of Duty Mobile there are a LOT of guns for players to choose from and equip. There are a total of 7 weapon categories, each having a few guns for the player to select from. Our Call of Duty Mobile Best Weapons guide will give you information on each and every weapon, even clueing you in as to what the best weapons there are in CoD Mobile. This will include the weapon’s stats and other information that might prove to be quite useful.

Call of Duty Mobile Best Weapons

The 7 categories of weapons are

  • Assault Rifles
  • Sniper Rifles
  • Submachine Guns
  • Light Machine Guns
  • Shotguns
  • Pistols
  • Launchers

We’ll go through each category in turn. The following is the Call of Duty Mobile Weapons Stats, and some other information that will work to your advantage.

Assault Rifles

Assault Rifles are often regarded as the best primary weapon choice, due to the high damage and fire rate (and if you were to get a headshot with one, that would work splendidly in your favor). They can also be used in any range, putting them above the class of shotguns, and on par with many other categories.

Assault Rifles also have a single shot function, perfect for when the enemy is further away. There are 8 weapons in this category.

M4 (Must be at Level 2 to unlock this)

  • Damage 24
  • Fire Rate 70
  • Range 2000
  • Mobility Moderate

Its range is decent but what makes this weapon such an advantageous one is due to its high fire rate and accuracy. In the right hands, this can be a deadly weapon.

The M4 has 4 Attachment Slots; 1 is for the scope, the remaining 3 are available for any other attachment. Attachments can significantly boost the stats of any weapon.

AK47 (Must be at Level 23 to unlock this)

  • Damage 33
  • Fire Rate 54
  • Range 60
  • Mobility Moderate

High damage output makes this a favorite among players, however, it has quite the kickback so it’s not the most accurate. It has 4 Attachment Slots.

M16 (Must be at Level 46 to unlock this)

  • Damage 30
  • Fire Rate 78
  • Range 60
  • Mobility Moderate

A relatively balanced weapon, its biggest detriment being its fire rate, it nonetheless is a powerful weapon due to its range, accuracy, and overall damage output. Has 4 Attachment Slots.

BK57

  • Damage 27
  • Fire Rate 60
  • Range 60
  • Mobility low

A bulky weapon that slows you down slightly, and one that doesn’t deal too much damage per shot, however, the increased fire rate makes that moot, and its range and accuracy mean that you won’t have to get in too close to the enemy.

LK24 (Must be Level 74 to Unlock this)

  • Damage 26
  • Fire Rate 63
  • Range 60
  • Mobility Moderate

Not much damage output but it is one of the more accurate Assault Rifles, making it worthwhile if you’re one to keep your distance and firing rapidly and it also comes with 4 attachment slots.

ASM10 (Must be Level 138 to Unlock this)

  • Damage 34
  • Fire Rate 54
  • Range 55
  • Mobility Moderate

One of the newer guns available to you, it’s got a balanced set of stats across the board, making it a very handy and useful weapon.

Type25 (Must be Level 104 to Unlock this)

  • Damage 24
  • Fire Rate 78
  • Range 60
  • Mobility Moderate

A lightweight assault rifle with 4 attachment slots whose biggest benefit is its high fire rate, which is somewhat counteracted by its low accuracy.

AK117 (Must be Level 60 to Unlock this)

  • Damage 25
  • Fire Rate 76
  • Range 60
  • Mobility Moderate

This weapon’s high fire rate more than makes up for the relatively low mobility it offers. It also has 4 attachment slots.

  • Damage 30
  • Fire Rate 750
  • Range 1500
  • Mobility Moderate

Sniper Rifles

Not a weapon meant for close-quarters combat, so if you have this equipped then keep yourself at a distance. The bullet travel speed is the highest for this category, so distance makes very little difference.

It’s advised to always equip a secondary weapon in case an enemy ends up getting too close for comfort. There are 4 snipers in Call of Duty Mobile

DL Q33 (Unlocked at Level 1)

  • Damage 80
  • Fire Rate 46
  • Range 45
  • Mobility High

The perfect weapon for a beginner, and who has a desire to learn to snipe. The high damage and accuracy make it a deadly weapon and 4 attachment slots make it highly customizable.

XPR-50 (Must be Level 65 to Unlock this)

  • Damage 55
  • Fire Rate 22
  • Range 45
  • Mobility High

A slightly less optimal sniper than the previous one, nonetheless it is still a deadly weapon, with the advantage of having a slightly higher fire rate.

M21 EBR (Must be Level 31 to Unlock this)

  • Damage 60
  • Fire Rate 19
  • Range 45
  • Mobility High

Similar to the DL Q33 in every way, however, the actual disparity between them becomes much clearer once the stats are boosted with attachments.

Arctic 50

  • Damage 90/144
  • Fire Rate 15
  • Range 95
  • Mobility Moderate

With the highest damage output, this is the most deadly of all the sniper rifles, however, its low fire rate means that if you miss your shot then you’re not getting a second chance.

Locus (Season 2)
The Locus was added in Season 2, and it unlocks at level 28. It has really high base damage but has a hit marker problem making it unreliable sometimes.

  • Damage 95

  • Mobility Moderate

Outlaw (Season 6)
The Outlaw Sniper was introduced in Season 6, and it is unlocked by getting 30 Headshot kills with a sniper.

NA-45 (Season 11)
The NA-45 makes it way from Advanced Warfare to CoD Mobile and the Sniper is semi-auto which makes it fire more than other snipers.

  • Damage 30
  • Fire Rate 60
  • Range 1500
  • Mobility Moderate

Submachine Guns

There are 5 SMGs in the game that deal absurdly high damage but only in close ranger, meaning you’ll have to get in close, which is a risky maneuver. However, the weapons’ high mobility will aid you in that endeavor.

Due to the fact that you’ll be near the enemy, you have no real need to fire from sight and it is better to opt for hip-fire; you can also be more mobile while shooting thanks to the high fire rate!

PDW-57

  • Damage 22
  • Fire Rate 74
  • Range 25
  • Mobility High

The high damage output, coupled with high mobility and average fire rate makes this a very deadly weapon in capable hands.

AKS-74U/RUS-79U (Must be Level 7 to Unlock this)

  • Damage 24
  • Fire Rate 75
  • Range 35
  • Mobility High

With greater fire rate and better accuracy, you’re likely to hit your target more often, which makes up for the slightly less damage.

MSMC (Must be Level 45 to Unlock this)

  • Damage 25
  • Fire Rate 93
  • Range 30
  • Mobility High

A significantly weaker weapon that makes up for its shortcomings with increased fire rate and mobility.

HG40 (Must be Level 115 to Unlock this)

  • Damage 25
  • Fire Rate 63
  • Range 40
  • Mobility High

Relatively less damage is made up for by the fact that it has greater accuracy and range than the other weapons in this category; this allows you to fight a bit from the distance.

Chicom (Must be Level 72 to Unlock this)

  • Damage 34
  • Fire Rate 78
  • Range 40
  • Mobility High

Similar to the HG40, the main discrepancy lying in the mobility, and in the stats augmentation via attachments.

Razorback (Season 2)
The Razorback SMG unlocks at level 55 and has really good damage but a slightly lower rate of fire compared to other SMGs.

  • Damage 30

  • Mobility High

AGR 556 (Season 12)
The AGR 556 unlocks by killing 30 enemies with a headshot using SMGs. It has a really high rate of recoil and good recoil. It is deadly at close range.

  • Damage 25
  • Fire Rate 70
  • Range 750-1000
  • Mobility High

QXR (Season 13)
The QXR unlocks by killing 30 enemies with a headshot using SMG. It has low recoil and a decently high rate of fire which makes it really useful.

  • Damage 23
  • Fire Rate 87
  • Range 750-1000
  • Mobility High

PP19 Bizon (2021 Season 3)
The PP Bizon unlocks by reaching tier 21 of the Season 3 2021 battle pass. It has a high rate of fire and reduced recoil.

  • Damage 26
  • Fire Rate 65
  • Range 750-1000
  • Mobility High

Light Machine Guns

There are 4 LMGs in Call of Duty Mobile, high damage and a larger magazine are the pros, but the glaring con of these weapons is their low accuracy and lower mobility.

You’ll have to weigh your options and ask yourself if you’re willing to power through the cons for the pros. If you do decide to pick this, close-range combat is the way to go due to the low accuracy.

S36

  • Damage 25
  • Fire Rate 75
  • Range 55
  • Mobility Low

A standard weapon with decent stats, especially in the damage and fire rate department, however not one I would recommend.

UL736 (Must be Level 108 to Unlock this)

  • Damage 25
  • Fire Rate 62
  • Range 55
  • Mobility Low

Similar to the S36, however this weapon as greater stat scaling when equipped with the proper attachments.

RPD (Must be Level 18 to Unlock this)

  • Damage 25
  • Fire Rate 66
  • Range 50
  • Mobility low

Suitable for mid-range combat due to the higher fire rate.

M4LMG

  • Damage 31
  • Fire Rate 63
  • Range 45
  • Mobility Low

Despite the low damage and lower fire rate than the other weapons, it does boast greater accuracy, allowing for you to fight from a distance and keep yourself safe. If you value defense, this may be the most suitable Light Machine Gun.

Chopper (Season 7)
Chopper LMG was introduced in Season 7 and can be unlocked by killing 30 enemies with LMG hip fire.

  • Damage 25
  • Fire Rate 74
  • Range 1000
  • Mobility Low

Holger 26 (2021 Season 4)
Holger 26 was introduced in the Season 4 update in 2021. Detailed Stats for this weapon are currently not known.

Shotgun

The best weapon type for close-range combat due to the high damage, accuracy and mobility, but fail to hit your target then there’s no telling how the encounter will play out. Therefore, it’s recommended to equip a pistol as your secondary weapon in case you miss with your shotgun and need something quick and user-friendly as a backup. Unlike other weapons, all shotguns have 3 attachment slots.

BY15 (Must be Level 15 to Unlock this)

  • Damage 12×8
  • Fire Rate 20
  • Range 30
  • Mobility Moderate

If you’re in close, there really is not a more suitable option than a shotgun, especially this one due to the high damage.

HS0405 (Must be Level 90 to Unlock this)

  • Damage 35×8
  • Fire Rate 5
  • Range 30
  • Mobility High

With greater damage and accuracy, this is a VERY powerful weapon, however the abysmal fire rate means that if you miss your shot, then you’re going to be in a dicey situation.

HS2126

  • Damage 80
  • Fire Rate 45
  • Range 25
  • Mobility High

Despite doing less damage and not being as accurate, it allows for more shots to be fired in quick succession, so even if you miss, you’ll have greater opportunities to rectify.

Striker (Must be Level 51 to Unlock this)

  • Damage 80
  • Fire Rate 25
  • Range 30
  • Mobility High

Close in stats to the HS0405, it makes up for that weapon’s shortcomings with a higher fire rate, further scaled with attachment augmentations.

KRM 262 (Season 3)
KRM 262 shotgun is a pump action shotgun that unlocks at Level 43. It has great damage and can one hit enemies at close range.

  • Damage 35×8
  • Fire Rate 55
  • Range 1000
  • Mobility High

Echo (Season 10)
The Echo shotgun can kill a target within 3 meters if all the pellets hit. It is a semi auto shotgun and is unlocked by killing 15 enemies long range with a shotgun.

  • Damage 12×8
  • Fire Rate 30
  • Range low
  • Mobility High

Pistols

A pistol should always be your secondary weapon, due to high damage output, great accuracy, and high mobility which allows you to move swiftly without feeling encumbered.

Furthermore, in a tight situation where your primary weapon (Assuming it’s a shotgun or Sniper) isn’t the most suitable, a pistol will come in clutch. There are two pistols in the Call of Duty Mobile.

MW11

  • Damage 26
  • Fire Rate 37
  • Range 20
  • Mobility High

J358

  • Damage 60
  • Fire Rate 20
  • Range 30
  • Mobility High

With greater damage and accuracy, landing a hit with this will is most likely going to kill anyone who stands in your way, however the lower fire rate means that missing is not an option.

.50 GS (Season 12)
The .50 GS is the desert eagle in CoD Mobile, and it has really high damage but also really high recoil. It unlocks by killing 20 enemies with headshots using a pistol.

  • Damage 70
  • Fire Rate 28
  • Range 350-1200
  • Mobility High

Renetti (2021 Season 3)
The Renetti is a handgun that fires 3 round bursts. It has great damage and provides good mobility.

  • Damage 76
  • Fire Rate 33
  • Range 350-1200
  • Mobility High

Launcher

These are large, cumbersome weapons, meaning you won’t be moving expeditiously while lugging these around. And you can only fire once before reloading, however both are worth it due to the extremely high damage that can kill more than 1 target per shot. It can also be used to take down helicopters!

SMRS

  • Damage 95
  • Fire Rate 10
  • Mobility Low

A powerful weapon that will devastate your opponents (assuming you hit).

FHJ-18

  • Damage 90
  • Fire Rate 10
  • Mobility Low

Although it does slightly less damage than the previous one, it makes up for it with higher accuracy, which especially useful when trying to down a helicopter.

Now that we’ve outlined the stats and other pertinent details of all the 29 weapons from all the 7 categories, I think I should give you my recommendations for the Best Call of Duty Mobile Weapons. The following list will show the best weapon from each category and why I think they deserve to be there.

CoD Mobile Best Weapons

Assault Rifles
AK47 Although not much in terms of accuracy, the rest of the stats match those of all the other Assault Rifles, but what gives this one the edge is the high damage. Even if you’re likely to hit your target less, you’ll still do considerable damage, and you can finish the job with the aid of your secondary weapon.

The ASM 10 is one of the best ARs available in CoD mobile Season 13. It is really good in long range fights. The Peacemaker is another rifle that gets the job done in both medium and high range combat. It is perfect for players with an aggressive playstyle.

Sniper Rifles
The Locus Sniper is insanely accurate while also having very high damage. It is the top Sniper currently available in the game.

DL Q33 With the exception of the Arctic 50, each Sniper has a fairly short range. The reason why I don’t recommend the Arctic 50 is due to the low mobility, and if you’re ever in a situation where you have to move, this will only hinder you. The DL Q33 is a more balanced weapon that’s topped with high damage.

Submachine Guns
The Razorback is the current best SMG in CoD mobile. It has a base damage of 42 with a decent fire rate which makes it really deadly. The GKS comes close to the Razorback and is also versatile enough to work in short to medium range.

For the AKS 74U, high damage, and high mobility are the reasons I recommend this gun. Moving quick enough to evade enemy fire, and having enough accuracy and fire rate to dish damage back.

Light Machine Guns
UL 736 Boasting the highest and most balanced stats out of all the weapons in this category; there’s no better option.

Shotguns
BY 15 Other weapons in this category do greater damage but I pick this one due to the greater fire rate – had the discrepancy been minuscule I would have picked another weapon, but the difference between damage is too little whereas the difference between fire rate is great.

Pistols
J358 Even though its fire rate is significantly lower than its contemporary, it still boats greater accuracy and damage, meaning that, despite the fact you’ll be firing less, you’re more likely to hit the target and do considerable damage.

Launcher
FHJ-18 This one’s a no-brainer. Despite doing slightly less damage than the alternative, the incredibly high accuracy more than makes up for the small discrepancy in damage dealt.
