Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare Remastered Maps include some of the popular maps from the original game; Crash, crossfire and more.

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare Remastered is being developed by Raven Software, Activision announced in its press release. The press release also confirmed three out of 10 Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare Remastered maps.

  • Crash
  • Backlot
  • Crossfire

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered boasts vibrant current generation visuals, with fully improved texture resolution and detail, high-dynamic range lighting, lit and shadowing VFX particles, revamped animation and audio, stunning sound, and much more.

Fans will relive the full, iconic campaign as they’re transported around the globe with Capt. Price, Gaz and Soap across all the missions from the original game, including “All Ghillied Up,” “Charlie Don’t Surf,” and “Crew Expendable.”

Players will also experience the online multiplayer mode that redefined Call of Duty by introducing killstreaks, XP, Prestige and more, and battle head-to-head in 10 fan-favorite maps from the original multiplayer mode, including classics such as “Crash,” “Backlot” and “Crossfire.”

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare will release on November 4 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Although it isn’t confirmed but we think there won’t be any last-gen versions of the game.

Modern Warfare remastered will ship with Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition for $79.99. We are hearing rumors that the Legacy Edition could be exclusive to PlayStation 4, however, it is from one anonymous source so take it with a grain of salt.

Pre orders for the Legacy Edition will open up later today. At 10 AM PDT, Infinity Ward will host a live stream on Twitch to reveal more about the game, its characters, and Modern Warfare remastered.

Multiplayer reveal of the game is expected at E3 2016. For more on Call of Duty, stay-tuned!
