Call of Duty: WWII beta is less than a day away for PS4 users and will be held early next month for Xbox One users, however, there is still no word on the Call of Duty: WWII PC beta. Now, Sledgehammer Games has confirmed that there will be a PC beta for Call of Duty: WWII.
Sledgehammer Games’ Michael Condrey confirmed that there will be Call of Duty: WWII PC beta while replying to fans in a recent Reddit AMA. However, he didn’t share any details when Call of Duty: WWII PC beta will take place, maybe details will be revealed once the console beta is done.
Also, a documentary of Call of Duty franchise titled “CODumentary” is also coming this September from Devolver Digital. Devolver Digital is known for publishing some exciting indie games such as Hotline Miami, Not A Hero, and Strafe.
Keeping up with the tradition, the upcoming Call of Duty: WWII will feature a zombies mode which the studio has described as will be based on actual events.
That’s not all! creative director Cameron Dayton has revealed that zombies in Call of Duty: WWII zombies mode are the scariest zombies the players will ever see and will be afraid to even turn off the lights while playing the zombies mode.
I think this is, without a doubt, the scariest version of Zombies that you will have ever seen. It’s the perfect storm of technology, and studio talent, and an audience that I just think is ready for something that is going to scare the hell out of them. And I think it is something that I’m going to recommend, for first-time players, do not turn the lights off.
Call of Duty: WWII is a first-person action shooter in development at Sledgehammer Games and is scheduled to launch on November 3, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The beta will start on August 25 for PlayStation 4.
