Rockstar Games’ recently released Red Dead Redemption 2 and prior to that, we had Grand Theft Auto 5. The next game we will see from the studio is most likely Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC. Once the studio is done with Red Dead Redemption 2 PC, the entire development studio will move to one new project which, at this point, is already in development for a few years. Rumored to be Bully 2, Rockstar Games’ next big AAA blockbuster will release sometime in 2021.
The first Bully released over a decade ago and became an instant hit, just like most games out of Rockstar are. Bully is one of the most beloved franchise but it has been on hiatus for a long time. Bully released on PS2 back in 2006 but has since been remastered to Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It also released on Nintendo Wii.

Bully is an action adventure game set in the fictional town of Bullworth. It centered around the life of a Bully which is definitely a controversial topic. Since the release of Bully, the world has gotten more sensitive about bullying so it would be interesting to see how Bully 2 is handled by Take-Two and Rockstar Games.
The game had a cult following at the start but word of mouth made it one of the most successful titles for Rockstar Games.
When Is Bully 2 Coming Out?
Bully 2 is releasing in 2021, according to multiple insider reports. The game has been in development since the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 and Xbox One. Take-Two won’t be showing Bully 2 until late 2020. Bully 2 is scheduled for a Fall 2021 release.
It can’t be said for sure of Bully 2 will release on PS4 and Xbox One. While GTA 5 was a cross-gen, older hardware held it back in many ways. We doubt Rockstar Games would ever do the same with Bully 2. But it is also a fact that Bully isn’t as big in scale as GTA so PS4 and Xbox One can handle it easily.
Regardless, Bully 2 will definitely release on Xbox Anaconda, Lockhart, and PlayStation 5. Both next-generation consoles will release in 2020. Microsoft will take the stage at E3 2019 to discuss its next-generation gaming console. How deep the discussion will go remains to be seen. Meanwhile, Sony is skipping E3 2019 so next-generation PlayStation will either be at PlayStation Experience 2019 or a separate event held by the company.
Rockstar India Leaked Bully 2 and LA Noire 2?
Fans of Rockstar Games will be happy to know that a recent resume of Indian Rockstar 3D animator revealed that he worked on multiple “unannounced Rockstar Games.” “Abhinav Raj Karanwal” worked on multiple Rockstar Games that are likely to release on PS5 and Xbox Anaconda.
While we don’t know what these projects are, one of these multiple projects is most likely to be Bully 2 and LA Noire 2. Of course, Grand Theft Auto 6 is on the cards as well. Grand Theft Auto 6 was recently leaked by a European developer who confirmed that the game is in development.
Prior to 2013, Rockstar Games had multiple subdivisions around the world. Each subdivision worked on a different game which allowed Rockstar Games to create multiple titles at once. However, Rockstar changed its development process after 2013 to have all the subdivision working on a single title.
So whatever is being worked on right now, all of the subdivisions are on it.
What Happened at the Casting Call?
Recently, Pinewood Studios Casting Director, Jessica Jeffries, promoted a casting call for a new “unannounced video game.” The casting call looked for younger participants. It was also confirmed that the scenes have mild violence and profanity. The description sounds a lot like Bully 2.
However, Jefferies confirmed multiple times that this isn’t for Bully 2. But isn’t that something someone would say under NDA from Rockstar Games?
