It looks like the upcoming Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Nintendo Switch will run on 900p when in Docked Mode.
Earlier today we learned that Nintendo Switch boasts a multi-touch capacitive 6.2-inch touch-screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720. While the resolution is restricted to 720p in handheld mode, Nintendo confirmed that it can go up to 1080p when in Docked Mode and connected to an external display.

However, according to industry insider Oscar Yasser, the resolutions for the Switch version of Breath of the Wild were revealed to him by a Nintendo representative. Yasser claims that the game runs at 720p in handheld mode – which should not be a surprise to anyone – but surprisingly runs at only 900p in Docked Mode.
I would be lying if I say that I expected something like this, but according to Yasser, the game looks gorgeous in handheld mode. Do note that this is something yet to be confirmed by Nintendo so it is better to take this with a grain of salt.
Nintendo rep told me Zelda runs at 900p while in dock mode, and 720p while in portable mode, looks gorgeous on potable mode.

In addition to open-world scenery and usual things that we have seen in so many videos, this one showed a sobbing Zelda in Link’s embrace. You can check out the video footage attached below to see what I am talking about:
During Nintendo’s recent presentation, the studio finally revealed the release date for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild which is planned to launch alongside Nintendo’s hybrid console on Mar. 03, 2017.
