Borderlands 3 Reportedly Overheating Consoles Now

Borderlands 3 has multiple issues with its performance on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. However, the situation just got worse if the coming reports are true.

It seems Borderlands 3 is overheating Xbox One X in both performance and resolution modes. The problem isn’t uncommon with poorly optimized games.

Fallout 76 has a similar issue when it came out last year. Certain things triggered the console to completely shut down. Bethesda later patched the problem but now it seems Borderlands 3 brings the same issue with its launch.

Ace Combat 7 had the same problem where it caused overheating on consoles. Borderlands 3 requires a patch as well before it permanently damages your Xbox One X.

Borderlands 3 is overheating consoles, reportedly installing Chinese Spyware and Keylogger PCs so it is safe to say the launch has been a disaster.

The DRM used by Epic Games Store for Borderlands has a constant 2Mb upload which is reportedly keylogger spyware. Keep in mind that 40% of Epic Games Store is owned by Chinese video game giant Tencent.

Digital Foundry did an in-depth analysis of the game earlier and revealed that Borderlands runs extremely bad on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

There are frame rate pacing issues, stuttering, and frame rate drops across the board on both machines.

Borderlands 3 is now available on Xbox One X, PS4 Pro, and PC.
