Call Of Duty fans are in for a treat this year as Black Ops 4 is going to be available for pick-up before the midnight release. You will not have to wait in lines anymore.
Smyth’s Toys and GAME have confirmed through Twitter that Black Ops 4 will be available for pickup starting at 6 PM on October 11th.
This is a change from what we have seen in the past. In the past, gamers had to wait till midnight release to get hands on the game. You had to get in long lines to finally get the game while those with digital were able to play it earlier.
Though there’s a catch. Getting game earlier doesn’t mean that you will be able to play it right out of the box. You will have to wait till midnight to start playing it. There’s going to be an update to allow it.
Players with copies will be able to straight jump into action at midnight instead of waiting in line. This is a good change for the gamers and also the retailers. Midnight release does make it hard for the retailers as they have to work late.
These both stores are in the UK so we can’t confirm yet if it’s going to be the same case with retailers all over the world.
As for PC players, the game will be capped at 120 FPS on launch. Treyarch wants to ensure smooth gameplay. The team will increase it up to 1440 FPS after some time. Afterward, there will be no cap on FPS.
This is only the case with Blackout mode. Multiplayer and Zombies mode will not have any limitations.
PC Players will be able to pre-load the game starting on October 9 and it’s going to take you a while to download. According to the back cover of the game, Black Ops 4 will need at least 100 GB of space to install.
Some Calling Cards and Camos have also been revealed through a data mine. You will be able to unlock and earn them in the game by completing challenges and tasks.
Black Ops 4 will release on October 12 worldwide for PS4, PC and Xbox One. It’s going to bring Blackout for the fans of Battle Royale genre and new zombies mode with intense storylines.
