Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta Update Will Nerf Armor This Thursday

Black Ops 4 Blackout beta update will roll out soon. According to Treyarch, armor is being nerfed to reduce time to kill of those wearing armor.

Black Ops 4 Blackout beta will get an update this Thursday and it is expected to nerf armor, reducing time to kill for those wearing armor. Armor is a crucial part of Blackout and it needs to be found as soon as you land. However, those who manage to find it often end up getting an unfair edge in combat due to an increase in time to kill.

After gathering feedback from the community, David Vonderhaar confirmed that his team is planning to nerf the armor this week. They are looking to test it today and roll out an update on Thursday. Some of the changes have already been made to the final game thanks to beta feedback from the community.

Black Ops 4 Blackout beta feedback is important for the final product as there are still many changes being made. Just recently, Treyarch released a list of new changes and improvements for Black Ops 4 beta. They are changing the way loot pick up works and fixing the quick equip menu as well.

Some players have had trouble performing certain actions while the Quick Equip menu is open. We have two fixes set to go live around 10 AM PT tomorrow (Tuesday) that will help with this: Quick Equip will auto-close if you don’t do anything in it for 5 seconds, and auto-close and prevent from opening when using the Recon Car. For future reference, the Quick Equip menu can be closed by pressing down on the d-pad.

In addition to the coming improvements, Treyarch also released a handful of tips as well so if you are having a hard time in Blackout, these may help.

Black Ops 4 Blackout beta is now live on PS4 while Xbox One and PC users will be able to experience the game starting September 15. Pre-order the game to get access to the private beta.
