You buy a $350 CPU, $600 graphics card and get other components to round up the number at $1000. You expect your rig will provide you with the best and most smooth gaming experience ever. You brag to your console friends about how good the games look and how great they runs at over 60FPS, and then, a patch comes along which makes your game look like Fallout 4.
The title in question is Black Ops 3 and thanks to Treyarch a recent performance patch has improved the game and it runs much smoother. However, good performance came at a cost. Treyarch’s 500MB patch downgraded textures of Call of Duty Black Ops 3.
