Bioshock creator, Ken Levine, is currently working on a new title at his new studio, Ghost Story. According to Levine, his upcoming title will be different from Bioshock. He added that he wants to make the game for a more hardcore audience instead of making the game that’s easier to understand and made for a wider audience.
He also revealed that revealed that his upcoming game is inspired by Middle-Earth Shadow Of Mordor’s Nemesis system.
Also, Ken Levine has revealed that why he stopped making Bioshock titles. According to him, he did not want to but also added that he had a “never say never” attitude about it. He informed his bosses at Take-Two that he would leave after Bioshock Infinite, to work on a “much smaller” and “very experimental” game.
However, we might be getting a Bioshock type game with the upcoming Far Cry 5 as the game’s story is being penned by Bioshock Infinite writer Drew Holmes. Drew worked as a writer for both Red Faction: Guerrilla and Saints Row the Third. He also worked alongside Ken Levine on Bioshock infinite.
Far Cry 5 is an open-world action adventure game in development at Ubisoft and is scheduled to launch on February 27, 2018, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
