As if Nintendo Switch’s lineup wasn’t strong enough as it is, THQ Nordic might be bringing two of its most famous titles to Nintendo’s flagship console. According to the company’s information sheets on their website, it has become apparent that Biomutant and Darksiders 3 might be coming to Nintendo Switch.

As Pixelpar revealed by taking a look at THQ Nordic information sheet for Biomutant and Darksiders 3, both games lack a serial number between the editions Playstation 4 and Xbox One: for example, as regards Biomutant, you go directly from 1024151 at 1024153, ignoring article 1024152, which, according to him, should be the Nintendo Switch version.

The same thing has already occurred in the past with two games that were actually announced for Nintendo Switch at a later date other platforms, namely Battle Chasers Nightwar (coming on May 15th) and Sine Mora EX (released last October 10th). While this looks like potential news, you should take it with a grain of salt as it will remain a rumor for quite some time.

Biomutant is due this year for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with no actual release date. The same thing goes for Darksiders 3 which will also be available on the same consoles. Let’s see if we’ll see them on Nintendo Switch too. Both games will be DRM-free on GOG. DRM is often linked to negative performance impacts so it is nice to know that a DRM free version is going to be available.

Biomutant is under development at Experiment 101, a studio that was recently acquired by THQ Nordic. Meanwhile, Darksiders 3 is being made by THQ Nordic as well but according to the company, they are not planning big marketing push for them. There isn’t much known about the release plans for the games but it is safe to say that they will arrive on GOG and Steam at the same time.

Always looking for a deep story, empathetic characters, and a great soundtrack in video games. Hardcore game hoarder and a strong believer that one day Xbox will win the console war.
