Bayonetta Now Playable on Xbox One via Backwards Compatibility

The Xbox 360 classic Bayonetta by Platinum Games is now playable on Xbox One via Microsoft’s Backwards Compatibility initiative.

The game is created by Hideki Kamiya who has titles like Resident Evil, Okami, and The Wonderful 101 under his belt. Since PG decided to go Nintendo-exclusive for Bayonetta 2, fans have eagerly been waiting for the next installment.

The man is currently occupied with the upcoming Xbox One exclusive Scalebound, but that has not prevented him from teasing Bayonetta 3, Okami 2, and even future sequels to Scalebound. To read up more, head over to the post!

In addition to Bayonetta, other Xbox 360 games available on Xbox One include Red Dead Redemption, Just Cause 2, Call of Duty 2, Shadow Complex, Beyond Good and Evil HD, Of Orcs and Men, de Blob 2, and more. Amassing a massive library of more than 200 games, Xbox One Backwards Compatibility initiative continues to grow with each day passing.

According to Microsoft, instead of providing users with a fixed release date of a Backwards Compatible title, the publisher will roll out the title as soon as it completes different technical procedures.
