We reported yesterday on an Assassin’s Creed Syndicate day one patch that some of the players have already gotten their hands on thanks to copies of the game being outed early.
It appears, however, that the game developers were not content with just one patch. The game is going to launch with two day one patches.
This might sound a little odd since you might think the developers could have merged the two into one, but apparently one of the patches is already live on the copies that have been outed and the other will launch alongside the game’s official release.
The fact that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate required two day one patches might also raise questions about the state in which the game is being released – all thanks to Assassin’s Creed Unity, we are all a little cautious. However, the patches are not too big.
Patch 1.10 takes about 541MB and patch 1.11 takes about 534MB suggesting that they are not aimed at fixing any major issues.
Last but not the least, there have been rumors that the game would require some 18GB of patch downloads, but rest assured that is not the case.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is slated to release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows on October 23, 2015 and in case you are wondering what the game feels like, here’s one hours’ worth gameplay footage to satiate your needs.
