Assassin’s Creed Unity was a mess and Ubisoft is not very well known for handling the PC ports; which brings us to a question, Is Assassin’s Creed Syndicate PC port is another mess? The answer is no.
The game is in far better shape than its predecessor with relatively fewer problems and performance issues. The game is around one month late on PC and it seems that Ubisoft has utilized this time well to polish the game for the PC.
So the game is preforming better than Unity but it does have its fair share of problems. A couple of patches are already out and we are hoping that more will follow soon to address the common issues. There are a few things you can try if your game is being crashed randomly during the gameplay. If you are using windows 10, open the properties of launch icon and run the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode. Don’t forget to run the game as admin.
Also, you should try running the redist setups present in game’s directory.

If #1 hasn’t solved the issue for you, you should try running the game in windowed mode. It’s not a permanent fix but until some official updates roll out, that’s your best shot to continue the game.

Some users have reported that they are unable to boot up the game after uplay tries to launch it. If that’s the case with you, you should try.

If you are an Nvidia user, you might come across some weird texture related glitches. In order to fix it, you should disable MFAA from Nvidia control panel.

If your Desktop’s resolution is not same as that in game, you may encounter some issues like black screen, slight stutter or blurriness. If you don’t want to change your desktop resolution, try running the game in borderless windowed mode.

Ofcourse, you will have to delete/rename some files in order to skip the intro videos. The files you are looking for are in gamedirectory\videos folder.
In videos, delete/rename UbisoftLogo.bk2 and pc_twimtbp.bk2 files. Then in videos/locale fodler delete/rename Epilepsy.bk2, PC_WarningSaving.bk2 and warning_disclaimer.bk2. This should remove all the intro stuff for you.
#7 Assassin’s Creed Syndicate – Menus Invisible
If you using Nvidia, you need to disable 3D vision from geforce control panel. This should make the menus appear normally.
#8 Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Performance Issues
First thing you should try is lowering your graphics settings to see if you get a boost. If the performance remains the same, make sure that you have the latest GPU drivers.
For laptop users, it’s important that they make sure that the game is being run using the dedicated GPU and not the integrated one. Laptop should be plugged in while you play the game.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is having some issues when it comes to SLI/Crossfire so if you aren’t getting the required performance, disable one of your GPUs.
