Assassin’s Creed Origins Hero, Bayek, is the “physical embodiment of ancient Egypt,” According to Ubisoft. Speaking in a recent interview, lead director Ashraf Ismail shared some interesting facts about our new clean slate lead. We now know more about Bayek and his personality.
Bayek is a character that cares about the people of Egypt and believes in the ancient police system as well. He is a Magi, an ancient line of great warriors who are capable of fighting in a number of different styles. The Magi are compassionate to the people of Egypt and care about their well-being. Bayek is no different and during the course of Assassin’s Creed Origins, he will show sympathy and compassion for Egyptians.
The idea of Bayek is that he is the physical embodiment of ancient Egypt. In the story that we’re telling here: if he represents ancient Egypt, what does he need to do or become when his world is dying, when the new world is coming, and to survive in this new world — what does he need to become? So this is the journey that we go on with Bayek, and it’s a journey that leads to the birth of the Brotherhood.
Bayek is a highly reactive person and often very emotional at times depending on what’s going on in his life at the time.
He is a highly reactive person, is how I like to describe him. When life is good it’s amazing, he’s happy, he laughs. But when life is bad he’s highly reactive, highly emotional. But he has compassion and sympathy for people. He’s also a protector. His capacity to fight is very powerful
Assassin’s Creed Origins hero is coming to take down the Templars on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC later this year. The game is available for pre-order in three different editions.
