Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the latest addition to the Assassin’s Creed series by Ubisoft. It has now been found that the game features a Battle Royale mode, kind of.
As you know, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey doesn’t have a multiplayer mode but still consists of an interesting type of Battle Royale mode. This mode is being called “The Battle of 100 Hands” and takes place on Island Melos. It’s available in the campaign of the game. At the start, you will jump into an island to fight among 100 other warriors from the ancient Greek world to win.
It’s like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey paying tribute to the most famous Battle Royale trend. This comes in a form of the mission where you’ll come across a street hawker calling out everyone to this battle. You can choose to take part as Kassandra or Alexios. You will also earn a big chunk of XP if you manage to win.
You can approach the way you like by jumping straight on others or you can choose to play it stealthy.
It’s fun to have but still, there’s no multiplayer mode in Odyssey. But don’t worry as Ubisoft has recently said that they are interested in bringing Multiplayer back to the series. They are currently looking into it. We are expecting to see it make a return in the next game too.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey also consists of microtransactions and there are a lot of them. These micro-transactions will allow you to buy EXP boosts, time savers, equipment, cosmetics for your ship and more.
These upgrades including EXP boost will also affect your gameplay and will help you gain experience fast in opening sequences of the game.
There’s a lot to do in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey as it’s full of various activities and side missions. It’s said to have 41 hours of story length which is more than any previous games in the series.
