If you are all familiar with Respawn’s new Battle Royale, Apex Legends, you will now know how the gameplay revolves around the usage of special characters with unique abilities. One of these characters is Wraith, a lady with the ability to hear and utilize the void to her advantage.

So let us get this out of the way first, what exactly is Wraith’s kit? She has three specific abilities when it comes down to it. There is her Passive Ability called “Voices from the Void” that warns her of hostile players entering the vicinity. Her Tactical Ability known as “Into the Void” involves brief invulnerability.

Finally, her Ultimate Ability is the “Dimensional Rift” which links two locations with a portal for about 60 seconds. Let us speculate about the multiple methods we can use these abilities.

Passive Ability: Voices from the Void

Now, this is a very important Support Ability. Wraith basically hears enemies creeping up on her or being within the immediate vicinity. Players with communication between each other will usually want a Wraith among them.

This way, you will not be unprepared for a combat situation due to this Passive Ability warning you beforehand. The passive skill can also be used when approaching an area, rather than being approached.

This will allow you to possibly set up ambushes around buildings that your enemies are looting.

Tactical Ability: Into the Void

This ability is Wraith’s active skill, meaning it requires manual activation to be used. Into the Void allows Wraith to briefly turn invisible and invulnerable for a short period of time.

This frame can be used in several different ways. One could use it to escape a losing gunfight either to get to cover or run away.

If the Wraith player has a shotgun, the ability can be used to zoom in close to an enemy without taking damage on the way. It can also be used as a stealth ability to safely sneak up on an unsuspecting foe for a quick finisher.

Ultimate Ability: Dimensional Rift

Her ultimate is the ability to create and link two portals that are used both ways by the entire team. The way it works is that Wraith gains a longer version of “into the void” where she is now invulnerable for 15 seconds.

During that timeframe, she can drop and link two portals with the distance she covers during the run. That is a lot of distance so the usability is versatile.

You could create an escape route for your squad or even devise a clever sneak attack on the enemy. You could also use the rift to get from point A to point B in the scenario of a closing circle.
