An interesting answer over at the FAQ boards of EA has led to a general confusion among the newly established APEX Legends community.
Any business related to the Heirloom Set and the limit of 500 Apex Packs, is a tricky one and we have done our best to explain the situation below:
APEX Legends Heirloom Set
As per EA and Respawn Entertainment, Heirloom sets are the basic requirement or key without which you will be locked to 500 Apex Packs.
In order to exceed that number, you best try to find ways to unlock the precious set. Fortunately, you have come to the right place.
At the moment, there is only one Heirloom set, that is applicable to Wraith, and you can acquire it without much effort. With that said, the chances are extremely thin.
We are talking cat-whispers-thin. Once again, as mentioned in EA’s FAQ page, to put these chances into the perspective of numbers, you will only snag the Heirloom set if you are in the lucky 1% of the player base at a given time of opening the Apex Pack, which is kind of a loot box.
This brings us to our next point. The Heirloom set can be obtained from Apex Packs. Apex Packs are awarded to a player after they level up or alternatively, the loot box can be acquired as a purchase via the in-game currency, Apex Coins.
For the latter option, you will need to head to the in-game store and confirm your purchase there.
If you want to rely on the levelling up method, you can easily obtain around 45 Apex Packs as you progress from levels 1 to 100.
However, things get a bit complicated, as the level scaling factor comes into play after level 100.
Ultimately, this prompts you to grind a whole lot more after the said level, if you still haven’t acquired the Heirloom Set and so want to continue running your luck at the Apex Packs.
As for the contents inside the Heirloom set for the Legend Wraith, they comprise of three unique items:
- A Wraith Heirloom Intro Quip
- A Wraith Heirloom Melee Skin
- A Wraith Heirloom Battle Pose
So as the proverb goes, “if at first you don’t succeed, try and try again”. This is the case for us, as of now…
