In simple words, you will not see him coming if you are not careful. Caustic is best suited for players who prefer a passive playstyle and control over opponents emotions.
The following are the skills that come with Caustic along with their effects and tips on how you can effectively use them in battle.
Tactical Ability: Nox Gas Trap
This is more of a Tactical Ability that comes in handy to trap unsuspecting enemy players. All you need to do is place gas canisters which can be triggered why shooting them or by a passing enemy. Players can deploy up to 6 gas canisters.
These can be used tactically; you can either place them close to one another in a confined space so that the enemy has no place to run. Alternatively, you can just place them at various locations and forget about them.
Once triggered the gas deals damage over time. This can be used to weaken enemy player to help your teammate to take him out with only a few bullets.
Passive Ability: Nox Vision
Nox Vision is a Passive Ability that allows Caustic or the player to enemies through your deployed gas. In short, Caustic can see through the cloud of smoke/gas of his own traps and grenades.
This gives players an opportunity to take out the enemy while he/she is struggling through the Nox Gas Trap.
Ultimate Ability: Nox Gas Grenade
Nox Gas Grenade is your Ultimate Ability and it can be used in a number of ways. Using this ability, Caustic throws out a grenade that releases deadly gas that covers an entire area.
This ability can be used to kill or flush out already suppressed enemies or as a smoke screen to cover your back while you make a run towards safety. This can also be used as a distraction as you can throw the grenade to divert enemy attention.
