While we won’t see the launch of Battlefield 1 before Friday, but there are thousands of players who are already enjoying the game on all platforms.
P-Stats have started to track Battlefield 1 on all platforms and at the time of writing, 81,969 players are currently playing Battlefield 1. These numbers only include the Early Enlisters and EA Access members.
If we look at individual platforms than PC has the lowest player count with 24,331 players and the peak of 64,575 in last 24 hours. As for the console there is some considerable difference in the player count between PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Currently there are 30,901 players enjoying Battlefield 1 on PlayStation 4 with a peak of 94,229 in last 24 hours. As for the Xbox One, there are 26,435 players currently playing it and with a peak of 124,684 for the last 24 hours, which is highest of all three.
While the PC numbers are definitely lower compared to Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but they are not far behind from Xbox One. However, the low player count could be because of the fact that PC gamers are less likely to pay extra for the early access.
It is also important to mention that these numbers are by no means official, but are the closest to the official data until EA releases the stats.
For the previous entries in the franchise, the Rent-a-Server Program involved third party companies. But for Battlefield 1, DICE is handling the Rent-a-Server Program a little differently. This time around there will not be any third party companies involved, as EA will rent the servers itself.
Thanks to the customization options you will be able to create unique gameplay experiences with you friends. Unfortunately, Battlefield rent-a-server program won’t be available at launch.
Battlefield 1 is scheduled to launch on October 21, 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
