A new listing on the Microsoft store has given Resident Evil fans an idea of the Resident Evil 3 Remake file size, and players should get ready to free up 43 gigabytes of space fairly quick before the game comes out. The game is slated to be coming out on April 3 of this year.
Resident Evil 3 is the third remake of the Resident Evil series that has been coming out in the past few years, and will allow players another glimpse of Raccoon City in the midst of the outbreak that saw it destroyed and will show the return of Jill Valentine from the original Resident Evil.
Much like the Resident Evil 2 remake that came out back in January of last year, the Resident Evil 3 remake will not only be getting a gameplay and graphical upgrade, but will also likely introduce a variety of new mechanics, which explains the Resident Evil 3 Remake file size.
While we haven’t gotten as much of a media campaign for Resident Evil 3 as we have two, with no time-limited demo, that doesn’t mean that Resident Evil 3 is any less important, especially considering Resident Evil 3 introduces Nemesis, another one of Resident Evil’s signature monsters.
The game has gotten a bit of promotion in the revamped Resident Evil 2 demo that was released several weeks ago, as an Easter Egg was added that allowed players to hear the Nemesis roar if they went to a certain part of the Raccoon City Police Department’s front yard.
If you’ve got 43 gigabytes free on whatever console you’ll be playing the game on, then congratulations, you don’t have to delete anything to make room for the Resident Evil 3 Remake file size on any of your platforms. Once again, the game will be coming out on April 3 of this year for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
