The September 24, 2019, PlayStation State of Play is over and left us with various news and updates about the titles that will arrive on the console in the coming months.
We have learned that MediEvil Remake already has a demo available, we could watch new gameplay of The Last of Us 2 and know the release date of it: February 21, 2020, in addition to the fact that The Last of Us Remastered will arrive on PS Plus this month of October. Here is a summary of everything we have seen in the 20 minutes of the presentation.
The live stream started with Humanity, a new title of Enhance (REZ, Tetris Effect) and Tha*. We still know little about the game, but we can see it has something to do with puzzles and the large numbers of characters that advance through geometric scenarios.
After that, we saw the trailer for the campaign of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which hits PC, PS4 and Xbox One next October 25, 2019.
After the shooting and the deep conversations, the State of Play has changed its rhythm to bring us a title of Funomena and Annapurna Interactive called Wattam, full of color and endearing characters. It will arrive in December 2019 to PS4.
Arise (from Piccolo and Techland) has also been revealed and has promised that the game will arrive soon.
Next it was time for VR! LA Noire The VR Case Files is now available on PlayStation VR. After that, a few new VR titles have been introduced, such as Stardust Odyssey, After the Fall and Space Channel 5 VR.
MediEvil has also appeared in the State of Play; they have taken the opportunity to announce that the remake demo is now available on the PS Store. Sony promised during the presentation that the demo is available although some users reported that they could not find the demo in their store.
Civilization VI has also been announced and will arrive for PS4 on November 22. We remember that until now it was available on PC, Nintendo Switch, iPad and iPhone and in a couple of months it will be the PS4’s turn.
The new game of Hideo Kojima has also appeared in the State of Play, although it has not been Death Stranding itself but a special limited edition of the PS4 console and controller, which presents an interesting design.
Near the end of the State of Play, Afterparty has appeared. In Afterparty, you are Milo and Lola, recently deceased best buds who suddenly find themselves staring down an eternity in Hell. But there’s a loophole: outdrink Satan and he’ll grant you re-entry to Earth.

But that’s not all, since a 3-minute gameplay trailer of The Last of Us 2 has put an end to Sony’s stream. We already have a release date for the new adventure of Ellie and Joel: February 21, 2020, exclusively on PS4.
