Roles and responsibilities of various team members regularly evolve to meet the needs of a game, throughout development. We have recently had two changes to the Halo Infinite development team.

We are truly thankful for his many contributions to our games, our studio and the Halo universe. We wish Tim nothing but the best in his future endeavors.

The other change Microsoft is referring to is Mary Olsen taking on the lead producer role for the next Halo game. Microsoft assured fans that these changes won’t impact Halo Infinite’s Holiday 2020 release on PC, Xbox One, and Project Scarlett.

The cross-gen title won’t treat Xbox One players as second class citizens, said the development studio. Each version of the game be it PC, Xbox One, or Project Scarlett, will get proper attention from the development team.

Speaking of Project Scarlett, the next-generation console is releasing next-year during the holiday season. Microsoft will use Halo to push as Xbox Project Scarlett units around the world.
