As we wait for the official cover and gameplay reveal due next week, wrestling fans got some good news yesterday as WWE released two official screenshot images of the upcoming WWE 2K20 video game that show a massive upgrade in graphics.

There’s a lot of hype about WWE 2K20 from wrestling and sports fan in general. Many are wondering what the game will look like once it releases. We now have our first look at WWE 2K20 thanks to the two images game developers Yuke’s, Visual Concepts and WWE have released in advance of next week’s cover reveal and first gameplay footage.

The two WWE 2K20 images were unveiled yesterday that showcase two different WWE superstars. The first is an image of SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley making her entrance, and provides a clear look at the upcoming WWE 2K20’s graphics and detail. The other image showcases the current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. Both WWE 2K20 images are interesting, take a look down below:

The images show a clear graphical upgrade when it comes to textures, lighting, reflections, and post-processing effects in WWE 2K20. When compared to an image of Brock Lesnar from WWE 2K19, the character model from WWE 2K20 shows the amount of detail game developer Yuke’s and Visual Concepts have gone into.

Lesnar’s face appears to be more realistic this time. The texture of the skin and the shadows are more detailed. We see more muscle definition and it all seems more believable this time. WWE 2K20’s graphics look amazing. Take a look at the comparison down below:

WWE 2K20 is going to be a bit different from previous entries in the franchise. Fans felt that previous games declined considerably when it came to quality. Because of this reason, Yuke’s senior vice president Hiromi Furuta revealed that the studio will be working on another wrestling game. This new wrestling game would rival WWE 2K and act as its competition in hopes of reinvigorating its staff.

So far from the graphics, WWE 2K20 looks very impressive. We are soon going to see the official cover of WWE 2K20 which is going to be revealed on August 5, so that’s something to look forward to.

WWE 2K20 is being developed by Yuke’s and Visual Concepts for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC with a release date set for October 2019.
