FIFA 20 has lost a big club to Pro Evolution Soccer 20. The Italian giant, Juventus won’t be officially a part of this year’s FIFA game. According to Konami, Juventus fans will only be able to fully experience this club through PES 20.
EA lost the license to PES 20 as it couldn’t come to an agreement with the club. EA failed to get the rights for the club and its players but Konami was able to come to an agreement. However, this doesn’t mean FIFA 20 won’t feature this club at all.
How Will This Affect FIFA 20?
According to EA, the Italian club will be called Piemonte Calcio instead of Juventus. The players won’t be using their official kits but names, player chemistry, and everything else will be the same. Players will use authentic real-world players in FIFA 20 and FIFA 20 Ultimate Team.
EA confirmed that Piemonte Calcio players will be eligible for special items. Moreover, their squad ratings will be updated based on their real-world performances. It seems the only difference is the kits and official club name. If that doesn’t bother you, there is no reason to switch to Pro Evolution Soccer 20. The rest of FIFA is the same as you would expect but there have been improvements made to AI. EA is bringing a new Volta mode as well.
FIFA 20 is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and other platforms on September 27, 2019. The developers are yet to detail its cover star but there is a fan petition asking for Magen Rapinoe.
She is an extremely talented soccer player from Reign FC in the National Women’s Soccer League.
