Devil may Cry 5 Already Cracked As The Game’s Non-Denuvo exe Leaks Online

Devil May Cry 5 has launched and apparently the game has been cracked due to the game’s non-Denuvo DRM exe file has leaked online. This is surprising since the game has just launched today.

This is not the first time something like this has happened. Previously, Final Fantasy XV was cracked at launch due to its non-Denuvo exe file leaking online. Devil May Cry 5 crack is now available online.

Interestingly, Devil May Cry 5 uses the Denuvo DRM to protect it from piracy. So, it’s surprising that Devil May Cry 5 has a Denuvo free exe file and hackers didn’t waste any time cracking it.

Following this, PC gamers are already asking Capcom to remove Denuvo from Devil May Cry 5.

Not to mention, there are a lot of PC gamers who don’t buy games due to Denuvo as there is a general consensus that this DRM degrades game’s performance.

While performance degradation is true in some cases but overall Denuvo DRM doesn’t have an impact on performance. It all depends on how the developer implements the DRM.

it’s not like other Capcom games using Denuvo DRM haven’t been cracked. RE2 remake was cracked within a week after its launch. The same happened with Resident Evil 7 when it launched in 2017.

However, given that Resident Evil 2 remake still uses the DRM it’s unlikely that Capcom will remove Denuvo from Devil May Cry 5. On the other hand, with the passage of time, Denuvo also changed its stance on DRM.

According to Denuvo,  every game is crackable and the DRM is just there to protect initial sales.

Our goal, and it’s still the goal, is to protect initial sales. Of course we would like to have it uncracked forever, but that just doesn’t happen in the games industry.

On the bright side of things, Devil May Cry 5 is being praised by critics for its excellent combat, visuals, and style. However, Capcom originally wanted to develop a sequel to DMC: Devil May Cry.

According to Hideaki Itsuno, he wanted to develop DMC: Devil May Cry 2. While he didn’t get to develop that but, Devil May Cry 5 features a few things that the studio learned from the 2013 reboot.

I really wanted to make a DmC: Devil May Cry 2, after the first one. I was really pumped up to do it, and then that didn’t happen. So… when it came time to make a new game, we said, alright, let’s make Devil May Cry 5.

Devil May Cry 5 is an action-adventure game developed by Capcom for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
