Cyberpunk 2077 Marketing Push Has Started, Release Date News Coming Soon?

Cyberpunk 2077 release date could be around the corner as the marketing of the game kick off. CD Projekt RED and PlayStation has released a new video.

Cyberpunk 2077 was announced all the way back in 2012 and in January 2013 we saw its first CGI trailer. Ever since its announcement things had been pretty silent up until last year when CD Projekt RED showed extensive gameplay footage from Cyberpunk at E3. However, things are kicking in high gear it seems as the marketing campaign of the game is moving forward.

This usually happens when big news or the release date of a game is around the corner. We know that CD Projekt RED will show Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 2019 as the studio has already confirmed the news. Now, the official YouTube channel for PlayStation has uploaded a new video to discuss the history and origin of CD Projekt RED.

The studio is the creator of The Witcher series and is now developing Cyberpunk 2077, a unique sci-fi RPG. The video is part of the marketing campaign of the upcoming Cyberpunk game from the Polish studio.

The video is quite an interesting look into the history of the studio. What makes it even more interesting is the fact that the video is narrated by none other than the White Wolf. The voice actor of Geralt is narrating the video.

The marketing campaign is an indication that Cyberpunk 2077 could release within the next year or so. The E3 showcase can bring us big news which may include the game’s release date.

Presumably, Cyberpunk 2077 is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Spring of 2020. Cyberpunk 2077 release date is likely to be shared at E3 2019 alongside a brand new gameplay trailer. The game has been in development for 6 years. The title seems to be in its final stages of development and CD Projekt RED has just assigned The Witcher 3 design director on Cyberpunk 2077. The director will make sure the quest design is up to par.
