Apparently the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey story length has finally been given by a writer from the website PowerPyx, who says that the game’s story will take you over 40 hours to finish (41, to be exact.) So if you’re looking for a game to hold your attention for a while, you’ve got it.
Assassin’s Creed Origins still has a few days to go before it releases on October 5, despite news that the game had gone gold several days ago. But there are a number of journalists who have gotten to play it, and PowerPyx has been able to give a pretty good explanation of how things work in the game.
To start off with, they were only able to get to level 37 out of 50 by the time they beat the game, and in order to even get that high you’ll have to do a large number of sidequests. So, if you want to get all the way to Level 50 you might very well end up having to do everything possible in the game to get to that point.
While it’s likely that you won’t be dealing with enemies that strong unless you deliberately get to the maximum level, the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey story length and the amount of sidequests that have been mentioned likely means that it’ll be a long effort in order to get done with everything. According to the article, that’ll end up being around 100 hours.
And even when you’re done with the considerable Assassin’s Creed Odyssey story length, regardless of what you do with it, there’s no telling how much longer it’ll take you to do all of that other content. If you’re not one to level grind too much or go on too many quests, however, you can use microtransactions to buy XP boosters which should cut down on the grinding specifically.
Hopefully the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey story length won’t put off anyone from what’s promising to be a really meaty and enjoyable game. The game releases on October 5 for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
